How should we worship? Part 2: liturgy as true magic

Most evangelicals are either scornful or suspicious of liturgy. But the regulative principle requires us to model our worship after the heavenly pattern, and this is not just because it is fitting to do so. Rather, arranging our worship to mimic and echo the heavenly reality creates a kind of “resonance,” where by expressing and embodying spiritual patterns, we actually enter into them.
